Tony Atkinson
Senior Pastor
Pastor Tony Atkinson received Jesus Christ and answered the call to ministry in April, 1974. He graduated
from Emmanuel College with an A.A. degree in 1975 and from the School of Christian Ministries with a B.S. in Religion in 1977.
In May of 1977, he entered the ministry as Youth Pastor at New Life Temple. In 1978, Tony and his wife, Sharon, answered God's call
to Belpre, Ohio to plant a church where he remained Senior Pastor of the Celebration Center for 28 years.
Having been awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in 1993 from Florida Bible Beacon College, Largo, Florida, Pastor Atkinson earned
his Masters of Ministry Degree in 1998 from Southwestern Christian University in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Pastor Atkinson was
instrumental in planting 12 local satellite churches in the mid-Ohio Valley area, establishing 29 Celebration Centers in Kenya,
Africa and was founder and General Manager of Christian Family Radio stations in the mid-Ohio Valley.
He has served on the Appalachian
Conference Board, the General Board of Administration and the Evangelism USA Board of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church.
